Parliament Secretariat Collects Biometric Data for Attendance System
Kathmandu. The Federal Parliament Secretariat has started collecting biometric details to make the attendance system of the members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly technologically friendly.With the objective of recording the attendance of the parliamentarians in the meetings of the parliament and its various thematic committees through electronic means, this campaign was started from Thursday. Now, in a few days, parliamentarians will have to mark their attendance digitally instead of manual (paper) attendance in parliamentary meetings.According to the Secretariat, the process of collecting details of parliamentarians of some thematic committees has been completed in the first phase....
