Three Reactors Shut Down at French Nuclear Plant Due to Jellyfish Swarm
Kathmandu. Three reactors have been shut down at a nuclear power plant in northern France after a swarm of jellyfish entered. According to energy company EDF, the three reactors were shut down on Monday after a swarm of jellyfish got stuck in the pumps used to draw water to cool the reactors.According to EDF, in addition to shutting down three reactors at the plant, the production capacity of a fourth reactor has been halved.
