KATHMANDU, March 4: Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) maintained that the ratification of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)-Nepal compact has guaranteed partnership among the members of the ruling alliance till the local level elections.
“Following the ratification of the MCC compact, the differences among members of the ruling alliance have been resolved,” said Dahal.
Addressing the central committee meeting of the party, Dahal said that the MCC compact was heading for the split of the ruling alliance and changing the course of national politics, so it had to be addressed and have been addressed successfully.
Besides, Chairman Dahal also stated that the government and the party might have to choose an alternative solution if the main opposition party, CPN-UML, keeps obstructing the House sessions.
