Bam Dev Gautam announces formation of new political party

KATHMANDU, June 28: Bam Dev Gautam, who has been organizing Communist Party of Nepal Unity National Campaign, has announced the formation of a new political party. Organizing an event at Kathmandu, Gautam announced the conversion of the campaign into a new political party on Tuesday. Gautam, who has been given a position of coordinator of the party, informed that the party will have a central committee with 75 members and a standing committee with members not more than 15. Likewise, the party will have a chairperson, seven vice-chairperson, one secretary general, one deputy secretary general, one treasurer and one secretary. The party’s main objective will be to unify all the communist parties in the country and the party will launch a three month campaign accordingly.

Gautam at Balkot to meet UML chair Oli

KATHMANDU, June 30: Bam Dev Gautam, coordinator of Communist Party of Nepal Unity National Campaign, has reached Balkot to meet Chairman of CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli on Thursday afternoon. Gautam has been advocating and conducting campaigns for unity of all the communist forces in the country. Earlier on Tuesday, organizing an event at Kathmandu, Gautam announced the conversion of the campaign into a new political party. According to the press expert of Oli, Ram Sharan Bajgain, the meeting between the two leaders is currently underway.

Bam Dev Gautam to form new political party, to have 70 central committee members

KATHMANDU, June 28: Bam Dev Gautam, who has been organizing Communist Party of Nepal Unity National Campaign, has announced to form a new political party. Gautam is scheduled to announce the conversion of the campaign into a new political party on Tuesday. According to Nimkanta Pandey, chief of the publicity department, the party will have 70 central committee members. “The party’s main objective will be to unify all the communist parties in the country,” he added. The party is currently collecting documents and preparing for its registration at the Election Commission (EC).
