Visitors entering Mustang required to produce PCR report, full vaccination card
PCR report or evidence of taking full dose vaccines against COVID-19 has been made mandatory for persons entering the trans-Himalayan district, Mustang, in view of the new Omicron variant of the Novel Coronavirus.
KATHMANDU, Jan 21: Local administrations have enforced a new rule effective from Friday making it mandatory to produce a COVID-19 vaccination card while receiving services and amenities from the public offices and places.
One has to show the vaccination card or its photo before making it to the public offices, hotels, restaurants, stadiums, airports, flights, hospitals and so on.
What if lost?
If one has lost his/her vaccination card, s/he needs to get a copy of the card. The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) said that the copy will be made available.
First, one can receive a copy from the health section of the respective local level or the vaccination center administering the latest dose of the vaccine.
KATHMANDU, Jan 19: The government has made the COVID-19 vaccination card mandatory in public places from January 21.
One needs to show the vaccination card to receive services from government offices and hotels and restaurants among other public places.
Besides, the vaccination card is mandatory to receive booster doses of COVID-19 as well, which is currently being administered by the government.
But if anyone who had earlier received COVID-19 shots and his/her vaccination card is missing then he/she has to follow the following procedures maintained by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
1) Those receiving both shots of the vaccine can visit the municipality or rural municipality office where lies the vaccination centre from where they received their vaccine earlier,
2) For those receiving the J and J vaccine, one can visit the municipality or rural municipality office where lies the vaccination centre from where they received their vaccine earlier,
3) Those receiving only the first dose of the vaccine can also visit the municipality or rural municipality office where lies the vaccination centre from where they received their vaccine earlier
KATHMANDU, November 24: The government has made it mandatory for travellers to possess COVID-19 vaccination card either to travel to India or to enter Nepal.
The COVID-19 vaccination card is mandatory to enter in both countries, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Dr Roshan Pokharel, Secretary at the MoHP and Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Indian Ambassador for Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding for reciprocal recognition of COVID vaccination certificates to significantly ease the travel woes for fully vaccinated people from the two neighbouring countries.
