KATHMANDU, Feb 25 : The Judicial Council has recommended the dismissal of High Court Judge Nava Raj Thapaliya and District Court Judge Ambika Prasad Niraula.

KATHMANDU, May 5: The Secretariat of the Judicial Council has decided to close the Secretariat today, expressing sorrow over the untimely demise of its member and senior advocate Laxmi Bahadur Nirala Khadka.
A press release issued by Joint-Secretary of the Council, Man Bahadur Karki, wished for eternal peace of the departed soul and extended condolences towards the bereaved family members.
Also the former Attorney General, Khadka died of Corona Virus on Tuesday in course of treatment at APF Hospital, Balambu.
KATHMANDU, May 4: Member of Judicial Council and Senior Advocate Laxmi Bahadur Khadka ‘Nirala’ passed away today. He was 77.
Also a former Attorney General, Khadka was admitted to the Armed Police Hospital, Balambu, on April 23 after he tested positive for corona virus.
Spokesperson of the Council, Man Bahadur Karki, shared that Khadka died of Corona Virus infection.
Khadka has a great contribution to the country’s law and judicial sector. He was
appointed as the member of Judicial Council some 16 months ago.
