Kathmandu, November 21 — The Judicial Council meeting has transferred two judges of the High Court and 11 judges of the District Court.
The meeting, held on Thursday morning, decided on the transfer of a total of 13 judges.
The council decided to transfer Judge Kiran Kumar Pokharel from the High Court in Janakpur to the High Court in Biratnagar, and Judge Rekha Thapa Pandey from the High Court in Tulsipur to the High Court in Biratnagar.
Additionally, 11 judges from various District Courts have also been transferred.

The Judicial Council picked High Court Chief Judges Kumar Chudal and Nahakul Subedi for the SC justices. Chudal is currently serving as Chief Judge of High Court in Patan and Subedi as Chief Judge of High Court in Surkhet.
