Nepali Congress Leader Khadka's Faction to Meet Today
Kathmandu. The meeting of the former acting president of Nepali Congress, Purna Bahadur Khadka's faction is scheduled to be held today. The meeting of central members, office bearers, and district presidents elected from the 14th General Convention will be held at Smart Hotel in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, informed former central member Laxmi Khatiwada. The meeting will discuss the group's future strategy. Khadka has called the meeting to formulate the group's stance after the Supreme Court granted legitimacy to the special general convention. Taxpayer Service Centers Launched in Six Local Units of Chitwan
Chitwan. Taxpayer service centers have been launched in six local units of the district. Services have been initiated from five municipalities and one rural municipality, excluding Bharatpur Metropolitan City.Following the decision of the Nepal government on November 3, 2023, to shift the services previously provided by the taxpayer service center in Khairahani to the local levels, these centers have been established in the municipalities. According to Punyabikram Khadka, chief of the Internal Revenue Office, Bharatpur, services began in Ratnanagar, Kalika, and Rapti municipalities in January.
