KATHMANDU, June 16: Chairman of the ruling coalition partner CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has accused the government led by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli of agreeing to the United States’ Strategic Partnership Program (SPP).
The government has decided not to release funds for over 2,000 local locals across the country although they were included in different plans during the premiership of KP Sharma Oli.

KATHMANDU, June 4: A faction of the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) led by Mahantha Thakur has finalised the names of the leaders to join the KP Sharma Oli-led Cabinet.
According to an executive committee member, ten leaders will join the govenment under the leadership of Rajendra Mahato. Sarad Singh Bhandari, Anil Kumar Jha, Raj Kishor Yadav, Chanda Chaudhary, Laxaman Lal Karna, Uma Shankar Argariya, Bimal Shreevastab, Ekbal Miya and Renuka Gurung are others to be the part of the Oli Government. Eight of them will remain as ministers while two others will have the portfolio of the state minister.

KATHMANDU, May 14: Prime Minister KP Oli on Friday took the oath of office and secrecy as the country's 43rd prime minister despite losing a vote of confidence in parliament earlier this week. Since he has been reappointed as the prime minister in his capacity as the leader of the largest political party in parliament, Prime Minister Oli will have to seek a vote of confidence again within the next 30 days. Whether he will be able to win the vote of confidence will determine the country's future political course - midterm elections or a full-term government led by Oli.
