KATHMANDU, June 8: The Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police has started an investigation into the alleged sale and distribution of air tickets by foreign hackers targeting Nepali companies.
KATHMANDU: Two cybercrime cases have been filed against controversial medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai at the Kathmandu District Court, following an investigation by the Cyber Bureau. Kathmandu, September 25 — The Kathmandu District Court has granted police permission to keep medical professional Durga Prasain in custody for an additional five days for investigation. Previously, the court had allowed a three-day detention for the investigation under the Electronic Transactions Act of 2008.
Prasai, who was arrested on September 22, was presented in court on Wednesday by the Cyber Bureau, which requested seven days for further investigation.

Central Member of Nepali Congress and Member of Parliament Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has called for an investigation into the audio allegedly made public attaching it to her name in relation to the fake Bhutanese refugee scam. Describing it as a fake audio, she has registered an application at the Nepal Police, Cyber Bureau today seeking an investigation and action against the guilty.
