A 33-year-old woman climber successfully scaled Mt Shishapangma in Tibet this morning, becoming the first Nepali female to successfully climb all 14 peaks above 8,000m.
KATHMANDU, July 27: A Norwegian woman and her Nepali guide have made a new record of scaling 14 peaks of the world above 8000 meters, in the shortest duration. Kristin Harila and Tenzin Sherpa (Lama) made the record in 3 months and 1 day, immediately after scaling the K2 Mountain in Pakistan.
Norwegian woman climber Kristin Harila has completed all 14 peaks above 8,000m after she stood atop Mt Cho Oyu this morning, expedition organiser said.
This Thursday 24th March 2022, at 4 pm, a well-known documentary called 14 peaks: Nothing is impossible will be screened on the banks of Narayani river in Chitwan District of Nepal.
