UML Vice Chairman Subash Nemwang passes away

KATHMANDU, Sep 12: Subash Nemwang, the Vice Chairman of the CPN-UML and the former Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, has passed away. UML leader Khimlal Bhattarai informed that Nemwang passed away due to a heart attack during treatment at the TU Teaching Hospital.

UML meeting started an hour later

KATHMANDU, June 1: The standing committee meeting of the ruling party CPN-UML has been started. Though the meeting was scheduled to be held at 11 am, it was delayed by an hour and started only after 12 noon.  The meeting is going on at PM’s official residence in baluwatar. Ongoing meeting will discuss the internal life of party and the budget provided by goverment.  According to leader Subash Nemwang, no decision would be taken on the action of the leaders who were earlier asked for clarification in today's meeting as discussions are underway among the UML leaders to resolve the dispute.
