UML’s Subash Nemwang elected from Ilam-2

ILAM: CPN-UML leader Subash Chandra Nemwang has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Ilam-2. He defeated Nepali Congress candidate Dambar Bahadur Khadka by a margin of 114 votes. Nemwang got 30,020 votes while Khadka got 29,906 votes. Nemwang was also elected from this constituency in 2074 BS.

UML meeting started an hour later

KATHMANDU, June 1: The standing committee meeting of the ruling party CPN-UML has been started. Though the meeting was scheduled to be held at 11 am, it was delayed by an hour and started only after 12 noon.  The meeting is going on at PM’s official residence in baluwatar. Ongoing meeting will discuss the internal life of party and the budget provided by goverment.  According to leader Subash Nemwang, no decision would be taken on the action of the leaders who were earlier asked for clarification in today's meeting as discussions are underway among the UML leaders to resolve the dispute.
