Kathmandu, October 3 — The monsoon winds are affecting the country. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has indicated a partial influence from a low-pressure system formed in the northeastern Indian state of Assam and its surrounding areas.
As a result, there is partial to generally cloudy weather in the Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the remaining areas are mostly clear with some partial cloudiness. In a few places of the Koshi and Bagmati provinces, light to moderate rainfall is occurring, along with thunderstorms, and light rain is reported in one or two locations of the Gandaki province.
