Power deal between Nepal and Bangladesh soon: NEA

The negotiations between Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) for electricity trade between the two countries have progressed positively. The two sides have agreed to sign power sales agreements between the two countries as soon as possible in order to export electricity to Bangladesh from the coming rainy season, according to the NEA. A team led by Managing Director of the NEA Kul Man Ghising and the bid evaluation committee under the BPDB held a meeting in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on Thursday.
