President Paudel Reshuffles Ministerial Order of Precedence
Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has reshuffled the order of precedence for members of the Council of Ministers. The adjustment was made in accordance with Article 76, Clause (9) of the Constitution of Nepal, upon the recommendation of Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen). According to the new order of precedence, Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, who was previously ranked third, has moved to the fifth position. Dr. Swarnim Wagle remains in the second position, while Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is now third, and Energy Minister Birajbhakta Maharjan holds the fourth position. ...
Foreign Minister Khanal and Chinese Ambassador Mao Ming hold courtesy meeting
Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Mao Ming, held a courtesy meeting on Tuesday. During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mao Ming handed over a congratulatory message from Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to Minister Khanal on assuming office.During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on further strengthening the historical relations between Nepal and China and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
