How is the ruling alliance preparing to share seats for upcoming polls?

KATHMANDU, July 22: Even though the Election Commission (EC) has recommended the government to hold the elections of federal and provincial level on November 18, the government has so far not fixed the dates of the polls. However, the members of the ruling alliance have begun preparations to design the modality of seat sharing during the polls. Nepali congress to claim 100 seats Nepali Congress (NC) is preparing to claim 100 seats out of 165 seats in the House of Representatives under the direct election system. In the election held five years ago, NC had won 23 seats competing against the alliance of CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center).
