Nepal Bar Council seeks clarification from advocate Pokharel who offered bribe to judge Koirala
KATHMANDU, July 19: Nepal Bar Council (NBC) issued a notice to advocate Rudra Prasad Pokharel who offered to bribe a judge at Kathmandu District Court, to furnish clarification.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, has stressed the need to amend the Nepal Bar Council Act to make the job of legal practitioners more systematic and decent.
KATHMANDU, Aug 6: The government has introduced a bill to regulate legal practitioners. If the bill to amend the Nepal Bar Council Act 2050 BS is passed, it will lead to a thorough review of the conduct of legal practitioners and disciplinary actions against them.
