Nepal's Ministry of Forest and Environment Launches Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Strategy
Kathmandu. The Ministry of Forest and Environment has implemented the 'Strategy and Implementation Plan for Gender Equality, Disability-Friendliness, and Social Inclusion in the Forest and Environment Sector 2082-2091 (JDC)'.The strategy, which has been in preparation for 10 years, was approved and implemented starting from Falgun 15. Today, the Ministry organized a program where Forest and Environment Minister Madhav Prasad Chaulagai unveiled the strategy document. He stated,

NRNA Leadership to Be Chosen by Consensus; Candidate Withdraws Presidential Bid
Kathmandu. The leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) is set to be selected through consensus. Accordingly, presidential candidate Robin Sherchan has withdrawn his candidacy for the post of president, which he had previously registered. He announced on Friday that he was withdrawing his candidacy in support of fellow presidential contender Hemraj Sharma. Sherchan agreed to step back from the presidential race during high-level talks with NRNA chairpersons Badri KC and Mahesh Shrestha to reach a consensus.
