KATHMANDU, September 25: Preparations are currently underway to procure 100,000 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to be administered to children in Nepal, according to Umesh Shrestha, the Minister of State for Health and Population.
“The government has already secured 100,000 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and will be brought here in Nepal before Dashain,” said State Minister Shrestha.
The health ministry has been preparing to procure Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to be inoculated to children.
Shrestha also expressed his confidence that Nepal will vaccinate all the eligible population in the country by mid-April, 2022.
