KATHMANDU, September 29: Nepal has secured as many as 10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines for children, according to the Minister of State for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha.
State Minister Shrestha also maintained that Nepal will fully vaccinate the eligible population against COVID-19 by mid-May, 2022.
Addressing an event held in Lalitpur marking the World Heart Day, Shrestha mainatied that as many as 300,000 people are being vaccinated against COVID-19 in a day on average in Nepal. “Before Dashain, 33 percent of the eligible population will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19,” he added.
Likewise, State Minister Shrestha also stated that the government has secured 10 million doses of COVID-19 to be administered for children.
