The government has begun preparations to present its agenda for COP27, which is going to be held in Sharm-El Sheikh in Egypt from November 6-18, 2022. At a time when least developed countries like Nepal are already suffering from severe losses and damages of lives, livelihoods, crops and infrastructure due to the climate change, Nepal is preparing its main agenda as climate finance for the conference. Since the country has already faced many climate challenges due to unseasonal rainfalls and floods among others, the government has been working to increase its climate finance grant to address these issues.
