Renu Dahal, Adhikari files nomination for Bharatpur’s mayor, deputy mayor
KATHMANDU, April 25: Renu Dahal, leader and outgoing mayor of Bharatpur metropolis, and Chitrasen Adhikari, Nepali Congress leader, filed their nominations for Bharatpur Metropolitan City’s mayor and deputy mayor.
KATHMANDU, May 22: As only 32,000 votes remain to be counted, Renu Dahal, mayoral candidate of CPN (Maoist Center), has maintained a lead of more than 8,000 votes in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
Of 127,566 votes casted in the metropolis, as many as 95,311 votes have already been counted as of Sunday afternoon.
So far, Renu Dahal has secured 37,468 votes maintaining a lead of 8,154 votes over her nearest contender. Meanwhile, Bijay Subedi of CPN-UML has secured second position garnering 29,314 votes.
Likewise, Jagannath Poudel, a rebel candidate of Nepali Congress has collected 12,359 votes.
KATHMANDU, May 17: The mayoral candidate of CPN (Maoist Center) backed by the ruling alliance is currently leading the vote count in Bharatpur metropolis with 273 votes as of 5 PM, Tuesday.
So far, Renu Dahal has garnered 6,870 votes while his nearest contender Bijay Subedi of CPN-UML has got 6,597 votes.
Likewise, the rebel candidate of Nepali Congress, Jaganath Poudel has collected 3,353 votes.
So far as many as 20,288 votes have been counted.
KATHMANDU, May 17: The mayoral candidate of CPN (Maoist Center) backed by the ruling alliance is currently leading the vote count in Bharatpur metropolis with a small margin as of 10 AM, Tuesday.
So far, Renu Dahal has garnered 5,830 votes while his nearest contender Bijay Subedi of CPN-UML has got 5,799 votes.
Likewise, the rebel candidate of Nepali Congress, Jaganath Poudel has collected 2,853 votes.
