DHARAN, July 2: Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City's Mayor Harka Sampang has been awarded by the World Book of Records-London. Mayor Sampang was awarded after he successfully laid 42 kilometres of water pipes and brought water from the Kokaha River to Dharan.

The locals and various organizations from Kathmandu Metropolitan City, have criticized the ways Mayor Balendra Shah is functioning. They blamed Mayor Sforh for carrying out illegal works and atrocities.
