KATHMANDU, Feb 9: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and Finance Minister Janardan Sharma held a discussion regarding the budget required for the local level election on Wednesday.
The government has announced it will hold the election of the local levels on May 13.
The meeting was held at the Home Ministry, according to Bishma Kumar Bhusal, a joint secretary at the Ministry.
The meeting mainly dwelled on budget arrangements for security and other purposes required during the election.
The Home Ministry will inform the Finance Ministry about the total budget required on Thursday, said joint secretary Bhusal.
