PM Deuba insulted the parliamentary committee: Chairperson Niraula

KATHMANDU, June 19: Pabitra Niraula (Kharel), Chairperson of International Relations Committee under parliament, maintained that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba insulted the committee after escaping the meeting of the committee. Earlier, the committee had invited PM Deuba to the meeting to discuss the issues of the State Partnership Program with the United States of America (USA). However, Deuba was not present in the meeting today. According to Niraula, PM Deuba was also invited to the meeting this morning as well. “ PM Deuba maintained that he did not get an official invitation.” “Despite our invitation, PM Deuba has insulted the committee by escaping the meeting,” Niraula said.
