Parliamentary committee sought documents to study SPP agreement case

KATHMANDU, June 17: The International Relation Committee  under parliament sought documents from related authorities to initiate studying the State Partnership Program of the United States of America (USA). Chairperson of the committee, Pabitra Niurala Kharel has directed the government and the Nepal Army to provide letters sent to the USA for the SPP agreement on Friday. Lawmakers including Ishwar Pokharel and Bhim Rawal had demanded an investigation by the parliamentary committee. Likewise, the committee has also invited Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to inform about his scheduled visit to the USA and its agendas.
