55 Individuals Apprehended at Tribhuvan International Airport for Smuggling Gold and Electronic Goods
Kathmandu. Fifty-five individuals have been apprehended with gold and electronic goods brought in illegally from Tribhuvan International Airport. The Tribhuvan International Airport Security Office arrested them during surveillance and security checks conducted from Shrawan 1 to Bhadra 31. According to the Security Office, 1 kg 643 grams of gold (equivalent to approximately 4 crore 25 lakh 73 thousand 186 rupees) was recovered from passengers arriving in Nepal from foreign countries using the airport.
