Tiger census planned around mid-December to mid-January
Chitwan, Oct 28: The tiger census in Parsa, Chitwan, Banke, Bardiya, and Shuklaphanta National Parks is set to begin in mid-Push (December–January). Mustang, Oct 28: Mustang has experienced this season's first snowfall since the morning today. The District Administration Office stated that it started snowing from the morning at Korala checkpoint in Upper Mustang, Muktinath region and in Lomanthang rural municipality. Chief District Officer Bishnu Prasad Bhusal said rainfall accompanied by snowfall is taking place in Upper Mustang's Lomanthang-2 Chhosar, Korlanaka, and Muktinath areas, as well as in the highlands of Upper and Lower Mustang. Gold price continues slide in third day of week
Kathmandu, Oct 28: The price of gold has declined for the third consecutive day of this week in the domestic market. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 241,900 per tola (11.66 grams), dropping by Rs 11,600 per tola compared to the previous rate.
