Employees at NRB stage protest against govt demanding reversal of governor Adhikari’s suspension

KATHMANDU, April 17: Employees at the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) staged a protest on Sunday demanding the government to scrap its decision to suspend governor Maha Prasad Adhikari. The central committee of Nepal Rastra Bank Employees Association staged a protest at the Baluwatar-based Central Office of NRB. Likewise, similar protests were also staged at Provincial Offices of NRB across the country. The agitating employees have also accused the government of interfering in independent matters of the central bank.
