KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Gagan Thapa, general secretary of the Nepali Congress, has announced his candidacy for the upcoming election of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Kathmandu-4.
Earlier, Thapa’s name was recommended for Sarlahi-4.
So far, Thapa has already been victorious twice from Kathmandu-4.
The Nepali Congress will now be filing candidacy of Prakashman Singh in Kathmandu-1, Santosh Chalishe in Kathmandu-3, Pradip Poudel in Kathmandu-5, Bhimsen Das Pradan in Kathmandu-6 and Rajendra KC in Kathmandu-10.
Likewise, the CPN (Maoist Center) has been allocated Kathmandu-2, 7 and 9 while CPN (Unified Socialist) will be filing candidacy in Kathmandu-8.
