KATHMANDU, May 3: Actor Bhuwan KC has joined the Nepali Congress (NC) party amid a program held at the official residence of Prime Minister and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Baluwatar on Tuesday.

Along with KC and Khadka, Rabindra Khadka, Chairperson of Film Artistes Association of Nepal, also joined the NC.
Prime Minister and President of the party, Sher Bahadur Deuba welcomed them amid an event held at Baluwatar.
KATHMANDU, April 6: Unnat Loktantrik Party has decided to field actor Bhuwan KC as its candidate for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City in the upcoming local level polls.
According to Swagat Nepal, Chairman of the party, the central committee meeting held on Tuesday decided to field KC as a candidate for mayor and Reshma Lama as deputy mayor.
“KC is expected to take effective actions to minimize urban poverty, address issues of those living in rented rooms and minimize domestic violence,'' said Nepal.
