Time to reduce climate change impacts on women: CM Raut
Chief Minister of Madhes Province Lalbabu Raut has said all sides concerned need to be serious to minimize the climate change impact on women. Women are more vulnerable to climate change, he underscored.
Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Roshan Pokharel, has pointed out the need of carrying out result-oriented activities to lessen climate change impacts.
Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Uma Regmi, has said fragile topography and high population of South Asian countries have posed them to high risk of climate change impacts.
