Time to reduce climate change impacts on women: CM Raut
Chief Minister of Madhes Province Lalbabu Raut has said all sides concerned need to be serious to minimize the climate change impact on women. Women are more vulnerable to climate change, he underscored.
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that Nepal has expected support from the international community to mitigate the impacts of climate change adding that Nepal has suffered from the climate change impacts.
Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Roshan Pokharel, has pointed out the need of carrying out result-oriented activities to lessen climate change impacts.
