Main opposition seeks information on arms purchase for Nepal Police
KATHMANDU, July 13: The main opposition party, CPN-UML, has expressed its objections in a meeting of the House of Representatives today, citing various arms being purchased for Nepal Police in a haste without calling a global tender.
The Nepal Police has reported that 26 officers, assigned to different positions, have failed to report for duty.
