KATHMANDU, Sept 17: A landslide in Achham district took the lives of 22 people.
The landslides were recorded at Dhakari Rural Municipality, Kamal Bazar Municipality and Turmakhada Rural Municipality.
According to the district police office of Achham, the deceased have been identified as Nabin Buda, two of Dhakari Rural Municipality-6, Janaki Shahi, 45, Bimala Shahi, 17, Netra Shahi, 45, Manisha Shahi, 36, Kalpana Shahi, 17, Sundar Shahi, 13, Menika Shahi, one, Kalpana Shahi, three and Bhawan Shahi, 21 of Turmakhada Rural Municipality-5.
Likewise, Amrita Kami, 30, Samita Kami, 17, Aradhana Kami, 21, Nikhil Kami, 9, Minakala Kami, 36, Gita Kami, 15 and Siru Kami, 12 were also killed in landslide in Kamal Bazar Municipality-6 along with Gambir Dhamai, 26, Bhana Dhami, 23, Digra Dhamai, 6, Kul Dhamai, three and Kalpana Dhamai, four.
