The British College has launched the brand new BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and Digital Forensics programme. The course at the British College will be run in collaboration with the University of the West of England. The course was officially launched with a reception at the Soaltee Hotel. Guests were treated to a special cyber security themed dance at the event, which was intended to excite the audience and represent the threat that hacking poses to the country right now.
Mr Maha Prasad Adhikari, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), opened the event, followed by Mr Manish John, CEO of Facts Nepal, who gave a presentation on "Facts and Figures of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics." The program was then introduced by Rohit Raj Pandey, the program leader, who explained how the UK-accredited course will be delivered at the College and highlighted the wide range of opportunities available to students after graduation.
