Bhatbhateni Supermarket will accept QR code payments from today onwards. Bhatbhateni has launched a QR payment solution in partnership with Prabhu Bank. The QR was inaugurated by Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari.
Governor Adhikari remarked after the inauguration that cash transactions would be exceedingly inconvenient, and that paying with QR would save time and ensure secure transactions.
The governor stated that the QR will help not only users but also the business community, adding that business would speed up. "Banks are classifying clients using artificial intelligence," he explained. "They're putting together databases." It examines the customer's spending habits. Customers may be able to receive an unsecured loan from the bank in the future, according to the governor.
