Indian embassy, LDT and Lumbini Buddhist University jointly organize Buddha Jayanti celebration
KATHMANDU, May 23: The Embassy of India in Nepal on Wednesday organized a number of events in Lumbini in collaboration with the Lumbini Development Trust (LDT) and Lumbini Buddhist University to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Buddha Jayanti.
Preparations are underway for the celebration of the 2568th Buddha Jayanti in Lumbini, Rupandehi. The Lumbini Development Trust has made arrangements to mark Buddha Jayanti and Lumbini Day which is celebrated every year on a full moon day of Baishak Shukla Purnima.
