The players were questioned and released after the data on their mobile phones was seized.

So far, 29 people have already been arrested on charge of setting fire on police vehicles while 11 have been arrested on charge of stealing mobile phones from a shop at Lhoste Mall.
Earlier, two police vehicles were set ablaze and a shop at Lhoste Mall was robbed during a protest staged by transport workers.

SSP of Valley Crime Investigation Office Dr. Manoj KC informed that 15 people seen in the CCTV footage and video were arrested.
The arrestees are Suraj Magar of Kavre, Ritesh Basnet of Udayapur, and Yaman Rai of Morang Belbari. They were seen in the video stealing mobile phones from Lotse Mall.

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested four persons for operating an online gambling den in Thamel, Kathmandu, on Thursday. Among the arrestees, one is a Chinese national. Police said that they have recovered 472 sets of mobile phones, 26 laptops, 1, 620 Ncell SIM cards, 10 pen drives and Rs 190, 000 in cash from the scene.

KATHMANDU, Jan 31: Police have arrested 74 people from Boudha in charge of gambling online.
According to Dinesh Raj Mainali, spokesperson at the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, 74 people have been arrested from a restaurant in Boudha on Sunday evening. They were found playing Bingo ( a betting game).
Police had received information that a large number of people were being gathered at a restaurant owned by Subhas Ghising, 30, currently residing at Baneshwar, for online gambling. Acting on the tip-off, the police raided the restaurant and arrested as many as 74 individuals.
The police have also seized mobile phones, money and coupons used for Bingo games.
Of the arrested, eight are females and 66 are males.
JHAPA, August 18: Police have arrested six people in possession of brown sugar weighing 27.7 grams from Birtamod Municipality in Jhapa district.
Different police teams arrested them from different areas of the municipality.
A team from the Area Police Office, Anarmani held two women identified as Devi Tamang of Birtamod-1 and Sita Khatiwada of Birtamod-5 along with 4.4 grams brown sugar. The police also seized a digital weighing machine and two sets mobile phones, said Rakesh Thapa, spokesperson for the district police office, Jhapa.
Similarly, four others were arrested in possession of 23.3 grams brown sugar from Birtamod-5. The arrestees have been identified as Ratan Rajbamshi and Suraj Chaudhary, both of Birtamod-5, Manoj Chaudhary of Arjundhara-5 and Suman Tamang of Birtamod-5.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle (Me 2 Pa 8686) from them. Investigations were underway, said the police.
Likewise, two were arrested in illegal possession of 900 strips of nitravet tablets from Golbazaar Municipality-3 in Siraha district. The arrestees have been identified as Pramod Kumar Yadav of Bariyarpatti Rural Municipality-3 and Dhanjit Yadav of Sukhipur Municipality-10. The police also confiscated one on-test pulsar motorcycle, two sets of mobile phones and Rs 3,346 from them.
