KATHMANDU, Feb 24: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has appointed Nirmal Purja, who holds the record of summiting 14 peaks above 8,000 meters in just seven months, as the Global Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal's Tourism.
The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale announced the appointment of Purja as Global Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal's Tourism.
Besides, Purja was also honored for his remarkable contribution in introducing Nepal and its prospects for tourism in the global arena.
