Kathmandu. The tenure of two Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) from the technical wing of the Armed Police Force (APF) has been extended. A minister informed Ratopati that the Council of Ministers, in its meeting on Sunday, decided to extend the tenure of DIGs Engineer Sandeep Thapa and Dr. Rupak Maharjan.According to Regulation 65 (Ga) of the Armed Police Rules, the term of office for a DIG is four years.
