Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality Pledges Over NPR 2 Million for Flood Victims

Pokhara. Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality in Kaski has decided to provide over 2.05 million in aid for citizens affected by the devastating floods in the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers. The municipality has decided to collect funds from its representatives, employees, teachers, and health volunteers and deposit it into the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund. Representatives will contribute 10% of their monthly service allowance, amounting to NPR 73,900. Employees of the rural municipality will contribute 10% of their salary scale, totaling NPR 514,773.
