National Poultry Disease Investigation Laboratory Conducts 7,000 Poultry Post-mortems in One Year

Chitwan. The National Poultry Disease Investigation Laboratory has conducted 'post-mortems' to detect diseases inside the bodies of seven thousand chickens in one year. Post-mortems of these chickens from poultry farmers in 16 districts including Chitwan were conducted to identify diseases.According to the laboratory chief Dr. Vijaykumar Shrestha, various types of diseases were seen in the chickens that underwent post-mortem. The laboratory has been identifying diseases besides conducting post-mortems. He informed that 10 diseases were seen in chickens during the testing of 1,500 chicken samples.
