Kathmandu. The Electricity Regulatory Commission has issued a new directive to make the electricity consumer tariff determination process fully cost-based and transparent. Exercising the authority of the Electricity Regulatory Commission Act, 2074, the commission has issued a new directive with the objective of determining a cost-based, consumer-friendly, accessible, and transparent tariff rate. The Electricity Consumer Tariff Determination Directive, 2076, has been abolished with the new directive.
