Nepalgunj. Nepal Electricity Authority Nepalgunj Distribution Center has conducted an electricity leakage control campaign in Banke. During the field inspection of the campaign, 19 abandoned meters were found, informed Sanjay Kumar Mishra, chief of Nepal Electricity Authority, Nepalgunj Distribution Center. According to him, 14 abandoned meters were found in the rural areas of Khajura Rural Municipality and five in Nepalgunj Sub-metropolis.Chief Mishra said that the process has been started to bring the electricity consumption equivalent to approximately three lakh units from the abandoned meters into the revenue bracket and establish a record.
