Kathmandu. Himalayan Re-Insurance's former director Rohit Gupta has been released after submitting bail amount. The Supreme Court, overturning the Special Court's order in the money laundering case involving Deepak Bhatta, had ordered his release on a bail of 2 crore.A money laundering case was filed against the then directors as well, after it was found that Re-Insurance's 2 Arba 73 Crore 33 Lakh Rupees was used to buy shares in Bhatta's name.
