Continuous Rainfall in Sudurpaschim Province Raises Flood and Landslide Risks

Dhangadhi. Continuous rainfall has been occurring in Sudurpaschim Province since last night. As rainfall is occurring from the Terai to the hilly districts of the province, concerned bodies have urged to exercise high vigilance, citing increased risks of floods, inundation, and landslides.According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division, continuous rainfall is occurring in districts including Kailali, Kanchanpur, Dadeldhura, and Darchula. Heavy rainfall is also occurring in some places.
