Kathmandu. In the first seven months of the current fiscal year 2082/83, Nepal imported electric vehicles (EVs) worth approximately NPR 14 billion. According to data published by the Department of Customs, Nepal imported electric cars, jeeps, and vans valued at over NPR 13.8477 billion from various countries worldwide between Shrawan and Magh.The government collected NPR 8.46 billion in revenue from these imports.
