Nearly a month after the West Asia conflict began, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) warned on Friday that Lebanon is facing a deepening humanitarian crisis that now risks turning into a catastrophe.“Since March 2, more than one million people in Lebanon, or one in every five people, have been forced to leave their homes,” the UNHCR stated.“The situation is extremely worrying and there is a risk of a humanitarian disaster.
