World Press Freedom Day Celebrated in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day (May 3), a morning rally program was held from Baneshwor to Maitighar in Kathmandu. On that occasion, journalists working in various media and related associations and organizations in Nepal were present. The conference of journalists held in Windhoek, Namibia, an African nation, organized by UNESCO, issued the 'Windhoek Declaration for a Pluralistic and Independent Press'.
